Which activities have been helpful (or could be helpful) in moving toward positive change?

Recovery often involves finding new ways to spend our time and energy. Let's talk about the helpful activities that support your well-being and positive change. Whether it's a new routine, a creative outlet, or a healthy habit, share what's making a difference for you and inspire others.

  1. More resources for getting help

    1. Thanks for sharing. Any particular resources you've found most helpful on your journey? - Jake (Team Member)

  2. For me, accountability and embracing it allowed me the foundation to repair and rebuild myself on. Without accountability, I was stuck on this loop, dismantling in a victim-mentality that didn’t allow for me to analyze the role that I was playing in my own suffering. Once I realized that I allowed myself to be reduced to what I had become, it became clearer to me on how to improve and remedy that, to change. That led me into surrendering to the recovery process. Without accountability I wouldn’t have understood the formula of how to change my life.

    1. Hey - thanks for this follow-up! This is really good stuff but I imagine has been some hard work. Have you had a support group/people in your life who have come alongside you on your journey? I appreciate that statement, "surrendering to the recovery process." - Jake (Team Member)

  3. Accountability, routine and discipline.

    1. Hey , thanks for sharing here. Those 3 definitely sound like some solid practices, and I can see how they might all relate to each other. Do you try to follow a pretty regular daily routine? I'd be interested in hearing how developing accountability, routine, and discipline has looked like for you in your life.
