Nathan Smiddy
Nathan Smiddy is a San Diego harm reduction advocate, fueled by the purpose of decreasing rates of opioid fatalities and blood-borne diseases amongst other harms associated with substance use.
Nathan provides overdose training to countless individuals and organizations, as well as education around legislation surrounding harm reduction and addiction. He has worked and volunteered in the field of Substance Use and Harm Reduction education for the past four years. His passion for harm reduction stems from his own personal experience. He believes that you must love people where they are at and you must walk with them at their pace.
