"Extra Normal": Why I Feel I Have to Prove Myself to My Doctors

I feel I have to be "extra normal" talking to medical doctors. I have a nursing degree and am retired. My doctors have also made simple mistakes and blamed it on me or my memory. They are "never wrong." It's frustrating to feel like you need to prove yourself in some way to your medical team in order to be taken seriously. I want to be seen as a person and a member of the team not someone who needs to be talked down to. just me
